We are seeking a talented Video Editor in London to work onsite at our client in London. This role will involve working within an emerging video production offering and supporting the established event production team with post-production services. You will be responsible for crafting polished, high-quality video content for various platforms, including broadcast, web, and social media. This is a creative role that requires knowledge of end-to-end video post-production and workflows, as well as an understanding of B2B audiences, key messaging, video formats, and platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conceptualise and execute high-quality edits that align with client objectives and brand aesthetics.
- Develop and refine visual storytelling techniques, ensuring engaging and impactful content.
- Provide creative direction and feedback to producers and the Video Production Lead, fostering their growth and development.
- Collaborate with the Studio Production Lead, Service Delivery Manager and clients to understand project requirements and deliver exceptional results.
- Master advanced editing techniques, including color correction, sound design, and motion graphics.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects and Photoshop.
- Leverage AI video editing software to create professional video content.
- Maintain and manage project files, ensuring organised and accessible assets.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams, providing regular updates on project progress.
- Ensure quality control, maintaining consistent standards across all projects.
- Help maintain industry-standard documentation on best practices and standard operating procedures that align with our current workflows.
- Contribute to Branding looks for Event and Studio; working with the client to adhere to client branding guidelines.
- Document and update client branding guidelines and templates for Event and Studios Projects.
Qualifications:
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and project management skills.
- A strong understanding of broadcast standards, and online delivery.
- A passion for video production and a drive to create exceptional content.
- 3+ years experience as a professional video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing creative and technical skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and other relevant software.
