We are looking for a full-time Creative Producer to join our onsite Studio Production Team. Reporting to the Creative Production Lead, you will be a key player in delivering end-to-end technical coordination and high-end video and content for a diverse range of stakeholders. The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional comfortable navigating the nuances of high-profile talent—from C-suite executives to political figures—while maintaining absolute command over broadcast-level studio environments and production crews. This role will be onsite at our clients Kings Cross offices Monday to Friday.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Act as the lead creative producer on all studio and remote productions, including high-profile and high-visibility projects with executive teams and VIPs.
- Lead advanced, complex projects end-to-end through to successful completion and delivery.
- Experience with filming video podcasts and corporate video production.
- Post Produce Video projects with our editing team.
- Set up video, lighting, and audio equipment as required.
- Be capable of manipulating lighting, transforming shadows, and creating environments with available lighting (in studio or on location).
- Possess exposure to broadcast equipment and streaming infrastructure with experience leading a team of operators on a shoot-by-shoot basis.
- Work with technicians to ensure all planning and technical needs are met prior to any production commencing.
- Translate abstract client briefs and concepts into effective visual form.
- Provide input on creative consultations.
- Adapt video products to fit the needs of clients and target audiences.
- Communicate the status of every project with appropriate stakeholders on a regular basis.
- Manage client interaction and expectations regarding video production support efforts.
- Identify opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions for change.
- Be highly skilled with a camera, demonstrating excellent framing and composition in both studio and on location settings.
- Exhibit strong creative vision for set design and the ability to execute these ideas.
- Demonstrate exceptional lighting skills, capable of creating various moods and effects.
- Possess the ability to confidently take control of a production crew, providing clear direction and fostering a collaborative environment.
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of the production and post-production lifecycle across all video formats (from short-form entertainment to longer-form corporate) as well as proven experience in social/mobile content creation.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
- In-depth understanding of technical concepts and operation of digital video cameras and studio hardware including Canon C500 Cinema cameras or equivalent.
- Understanding of format and file type compatibility issues specific to video and audio.
- The ability to manage stakeholders' creative expectations and deploy appropriate technical solutions to deliver complex projects/messaging.
- Ability to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including relationship building and collaboration within a diverse, cross-functional team.
- Self-starter who can demonstrate learning and be open to learning and is adaptable to change.
- Must possess a growth mindset.
- Experience working with a wide range of talent such as influencers, political figures, and C-level executives.
- Hands-on experience with broadcast-level studio equipment.
- Navigating the corporate environment.
Education & Experience
- Minimum 5+ years of studio and field video production experience as a Producer or Line Producer.
