Our client is a highly respected, reputable and forward thinking insurance broker. They are looking for a talented and experienced Account Executive to help drive and support the continued growth of the business. In addition, the successful applicant will mentor Account Handlers and junior team members and promote excellent teamwork standards. You will be an experienced business developer with a previous track record managing clients, identifying new opportunities and building lasting relationships with clients. This opportunity includes hybrid working.
Duties:
- To contribute towards the Commercial team’s achievement of forecasts, plans, programmes and budgets.
- To maintain appropriate, regular contact with existing customers and ensure their insurance requirements continue to be met in line with service levels.
- To work closely with other Account Handlers where necessary, to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Make certain that files, notes and other records are clear, complete, up to date and available to other staff during periods of absence, in order to maintain high levels of client service and accuracy of documentation.
- To cooperate and participate with other team members in ensuring that the smooth running of the office, and any housekeeping tasks, are fully accomplished.
Requirements:
- At least 2/3 years’ experience in Commercial Broking.
- The principles, practices and legalities of most major classes of General Insurance.
- Knowledge of a wide range of Commercial Insurance products to include but not restricted to Commercial Combined, Fleet, Property Owners, Cyber, D&O, Employers and Public liability.
