PURPOSE OF ROLE: What are we looking for?
You’ll plan, facilitate and deliver our youth work and schools programmes across
Antrim, hub nights, schools sessions, outdoor and arts-based work — as part of a
wider team that plans together and covers for each other.
We’re looking for someone with genuine care for young people, a belief in what
they’re capable of, and real experience of doing this well. Much of this post
focuses on young males, so you’ll need to understand the pressures they’re under
and how to build the kind of trusting, boundaried relationships that help. Local
knowledge of Antrim is a bonus, not a requirement — we’ll help you build those
connections.
The work involves regular day and evening delivery. We cap evening work at two
nights a week, and we mean it.
