Here`s a snap shot of what you'll be doing day to day - We are looking for an Industrial Sewing Machine Technician to support our Bed Production team by maintaining, servicing and repairing the industrial sewing machines used across our factory.
This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience working with sewing machinery in a manufacturing, upholstery, textiles, furniture or similar production environment.
You will be part of a small maintenance team, helping to keep production running smoothly by responding to breakdowns, carrying out planned maintenance and making adjustments to ensure machines are running safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities Maintain, repair and service industrial sewing machines used within bed production.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and electronic faults where required.
Carry out preventative maintenance to reduce downtime and improve machine reliability.
Adjust, calibrate and set up machines to meet production requirements.
Support machine installations, changes and improvements where needed.
Keep accurate records of maintenance, servicing and repair activity.
Identify parts required and support with spare parts stock control.
