This is an exciting opportunity to join our distribution team at Dreams. As a Warehouse Team Leader, you will play a key role in serving our customers, ensuring their perfect bed is delivered without a hitch. This role requires a full UK driving licence. Your standard working week will be 38.75 hrs (excluding breaks), however you will be paid in accordance with total hours worked to allow for variations in daily routes. This includes working weekends with time off in the week.

Here’s a taste of what you’ll be doing day-to-day:

  • Co-ordinate the workload of the Warehouse Operatives to achieve the required results
  • Providing 'on the job' training and support of new starters
  • Ensure accurate receipt of both goods inwards from internal and external suppliers
  • Supervise a team of warehouse operatives in the safe offloading and loading vehicles; including heavy lifting of products including mattresses, bedframes and sofa beds
  • Checking deliveries on to systems, and checking & completing delivery paperwork
  • Work to achieve daily targets
  • Organising and prioritising the workload
  • Assist with the smooth operation of the warehouse
  • Moving of company vehicles within the depot
