We are looking for a new Risk & Safety Administrator to join our Risk team based in Willenhall. In this role, you will provide support to the Safety and Risk teams with a range of simple and complex administrative duties. This will include data management and manipulation, document and report collation, using the Risk & Safety reporting and management software, including reviewing and allocating records as required.

Managing the vehicle accident and incident reporting and insurance claims, ensuring insurers have all relevant information, files and documents, while working with fleet to ensure claims are settled in the interest of Dreams where possible. Collating insurance claim information for a range of claims and supporting with the insurance processes as required.

There will be a range of projects at any one time so co-ordination and other support duties will be required. You will be the initial central point of contact via a dedicated mailbox and helpline for the business regarding Safety and Risk.

Core duties:

  • Monitoring the incident and accident database, ensuring that documentation is received and collated and that entries are kept up to date.
  • Assisting the Risk and Safety Teams in the preparation of meeting agendas and minutes.
  • Actively monitoring the Risk & Health and Safety inboxes, ensuring that Risk & Safety Managers are made aware of issues which affect their regions, making the Head of Risk & Safety aware of reported issues as appropriate.
  • Assisting in the development of the health and safety training matrix providing up to date completion figures for the team, following up on outstanding training and collaborating with the Learning and Development Team.
  • Attending internal and external meetings to take minutes, record actions and support as required.
  • Bringing our values to life through all of your interactions with our colleagues.
  • Assisting the Health & Safety Team in ensuring that our colleagues understand their responsibilities around health & safety and taking responsibility for your own health & safety.
  • Managing vehicle incidents and insurance claims and supporting with insurance claims management as required.
  • Checking the status of online role specific and DSE risk assessments and following up when assessments have become overdue.
  • Using your initiative and networks to improve health & safety awareness and ensure that we get it right first time, every time.
  • Contributing to the upkeep and development of the Team's Intranet pages.

This list is not extensive, and you will be expected to fulfil additional responsibilities as per business requirements. The role requires cross functional relationships and working across all business areas and levels including Retail, Distribution, Manufacturing and Bedquarters departments and teams.
