About Us: Dreams & Sofatime is one of Ireland's leading bed and sofa retailers, operating 12 stores, 2 distribution centres and 4 websites across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
Your Role: As a Finance Assistant, you'll support the preparation of high-quality financial information across our diverse group of companies, including:
- Dreams & Sofatime (Northern Ireland & Republic of Ireland)
- Our commercial property management companies
This role offers exposure to a broad range of accounting activities, providing an excellent foundation for someone looking to develop into a commercially focused finance professional.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Preparing bank reconciliations, monitoring multiple bank accounts
- Weekly cash reporting with analysis
- Processing payments to suppliers
- Processing payment journals
- Reviewing finance agreements, drawdown of funds and allocating to debtor ledger
- Accounting for hire purchase agreements, loans and foreign exchange transactions
- Assisting with internal and external financial reporting
- Supporting the annual audit process
- Contributing to finance projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Providing general support to the wider Head Office Team as required
