On behalf of our client — a leading private investment firm — we are seeking a high-caliber Investment Manager to join their growing team. The role offers the opportunity to work across a dynamic portfolio with a primary focus on oil & gas and conventional power investments.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will play a key role in sourcing, evaluating, structuring, and managing investments across the energy sector. Working closely with senior leadership, you will have significant responsibility from day one, with the opportunity to shape investment strategy and portfolio company value creation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Originate and evaluate investment opportunities within oil & gas and power sectors.
- Lead due diligence, financial modeling, and deal structuring efforts.
- Support portfolio company growth initiatives, operational improvements, and strategic planning.
- Collaborate closely with senior leadership and other investment team members.
Ideal Candidate:
- 5–10 years of experience in private equity, principal investing, or investment banking, with a clear focus on energy (oil & gas and/or power).
- Strong financial and commercial acumen, with excellent execution skills.
- Entrepreneurial, driven, and comfortable working within a lean team structure.
- Willingness to be based in London or Houston.
