Dreamfarm is an Australian design company that creates the world’s best kitchen tools and gadgets. Our problem-solving products are sold in thousands of retail stores and used daily in countless homes across the globe. We’re looking for an experienced Director of International Sales to take ownership of our global distributor network and drive our next phase of international growth.
We’re on the hunt for a commercially minded sales leader who believes the best results come from real conversations and strong relationships.
The role
As Dreamfarm’s Director of International Sales, you will manage and grow our distributor network across all markets excluding North America and report directly to Dreamfarm’s Founder and CEO. You’ll set the international sales strategy and lead a small, high-performing, Brisbane-based team to support our export partners. You’ll spend your time identifying new opportunities, developing and strengthening existing relationships, creating momentum for new product launches, and onboarding new partners.
Key responsibilities
- Grow Dreamfarm’s international sales through proactive engagement with distribution partners.
- Build strong, productive relationships through regular phone and video calls, in-person meetings, and trade shows.
- Drive consistent revenue growth by supporting new and existing distributors, as well as identifying new commercial opportunities.
- Set clear long-term goals by region and execute structured, achievable sales plans.
- Lead pricing discussions, negotiations and agreements with confidence and commercial clarity.
- Work closely with internal Marketing, Product Design, and Supply Chain teams to support launches, promotions, and execution in-market.
- Coach and lead your team to deliver outstanding customer support and commercial outcomes.
- Provide clear reporting and insight on sales performance, forecasts, and market intelligence.
- Represent Dreamfarm with energy and professionalism at key industry events and trade shows.
How you’ll succeed here
This role suits someone who:
- Instinctively picks up the phone over sending an email.
- Is comfortable leading direct, constructive commercial conversations.
- Enjoys being visible, responsive, and trusted by partners.
- Understands that relationships drive results.
About you
You’re a seasoned international sales or business development leader with experience managing distributor networks in housewares, kitchen tools or adjacent consumer goods categories. You understand that we succeed not by selling more to our distributors, but by helping them sell more in their local markets. You will bring:
- 7+ years’ experience in international/export sales or global business development.
- A strong track record of delivering growth and achieving sales targets.
- Excellent commercial judgement across pricing, forecasting, and margin management.
- Confidence presenting, negotiating, and influencing at senior levels.
- Cultural awareness and comfort working across varied time zones and regions.
- Solid understanding of export market dynamics, including regulatory requirements, compliance standards, and operational complexities.
You can work from anywhere in the world. Being based in the US or Europe would align well with key customer time zones but is not essential. However, you will be expected to meet regularly with your Australian team.
What’s in it for you?
- A senior leadership role with real influence and autonomy.
- Be part of a respected brand, recognised for consistent excellence in product design and innovative marketing.
- Award-winning products that sell themselves.
- Long-standing distributor relationships built on trust and partnership, no hard selling.
- Competitive salary package with performance-based incentives.
- Flexible work hours and location.
