About Dreame Technology

We are a fast-growing global leader in smart home appliances and innovative technology. As we continue to expand our footprint across the UK, we are looking for a dynamic Channel Marketing Manager to bridge the gap between our brand and our retail partners.

You are a dedicated marketer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and demonstrates exceptional problem-solving capabilities. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building relationships with internal teams, key retailers, and external stakeholders. You know how to drive cross-functional initiatives and align marketing strategies with business goals—specifically through the lens of the UK high street and grocery multiples.

Key Responsibilities
  • Trade Marketing Support: Assist in the development and implementation of local trade marketing plans tailored to UK market conditions and consumer behaviour. Adapt global brand campaigns for local retail partners, ensuring resonance with British shoppers.
  • Retail Onsite Activations: Plan and execute onsite campaigns to support product launches, increase visibility, and drive rate of sale (SPA/SBA) within key UK accounts (e.g., John Lewis, Argos, Currys, Tesco). Liaise with retail buyers and merchandising teams to secure prime POS locations and ensure flawless execution.
  • Market and Competitor Analysis: Monitor competitor activities, trade promotions, and market trends across the UK retail landscape. Provide actionable insights to ensure our products remain competitive against both legacy brands and DTC disruptors.
  • Sales Support and Coordination: Collaborate closely with the UK sales team (National Account Managers) to align trade marketing activities with sales objectives and retailer Joint Business Plans (JBPs). Provide necessary marketing collateral, ranging from shelf-edge tickets to digital assets, to drive sales during promotions or activations.
  • In-Store Promotions & Activations: Support the planning and execution of in-store promotional activities, product displays, and demo events. Enhance brand visibility through strategic placement and seasonal campaigns (e.g., Back to School, Black Friday, Christmas trading).
  • Budget Management: Assist in managing the trade marketing budget for the UK, ensuring activities are cost-effective and provide a strong return on investment (ROI) against sales targets.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Track and report on the performance of trade marketing campaigns using key performance indicators such as sales growth, retailer compliance, market share, and promotional effectiveness. Use data to refine future activations and strengthen retailer relationships.
Must-Haves:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5 years of experience in trade marketing, field marketing, or sales within the consumer goods, FMCG, or retail industry in the UK.
  • Retail Knowledge: Solid understanding of the UK retail landscape, including experience working with national multiples or regional buying groups.
  • Skills: Strong project management and organisational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Analytical skills to assess trade marketing effectiveness and drive improvements. Experience with trade marketing or CRM software is preferred.
  • Languages: Fluent English is a must.
