We are looking to appoint a Senior MEP professional to step in as an MEP Contracts Director / MEP Project Director. The successful candidate will manage complex Mechanical and Electrical installations up to an industrial level and will deliver projects worth £20M and beyond.
Responsibilities
- Own and lead MEP contracting and project delivery for large‑scale schemes.
- Manage multidisciplinary teams and mentor Project Managers and support staff.
- Procure MEP systems, drive commercial performance, cost control, and technical delivery.
- Ensure compliance with UK building regulations, MEP systems standards, and construction methodologies.
- Lead risk management, safety, and quality assurance activities.
- Collaborate with consultants, subcontractors, and specialist engineers.
Qualifications and Experience
- Extensive background in Mechanical & Electrical Services, M&E/MEC, or Building Services.
- Demonstrated track record managing projects above £20M.
- Strong commercial acumen with in‑depth knowledge of UK building regulations.
- Leadership experience in a client‑side, multidisciplinary environment.
- Proven procurement and resource management capabilities.
Location
Candidate must be based or be able to commute to Bristol / Avon.
