About the role

A leading, established and highly successful provider of mechanical and electrical installation services to commercial and industrial buildings seeks the appointment of an experienced and commercially talented Mechanical Project Manager from an M&E / Building Services mechanical installation project management background to join their exciting planned growth and continued success.

Candidates sought MUST be based or commutable to Leeds.

You will ideally have previous experience working on multi-million pound projects and be a true professional mainly working on managing the mechanical installations into new build industrial sheds for warehousing & distribution, food production, automotive and a variety of manufactured goods, as well as office blocks and data centres.

Responsibilities

• Lead the mechanical installation on new build industrial sheds and other commercial & industrial schemes.
• Organise and work with specialist mechanical-related engineers to undertake elements of installs.
• Liaise regularly with site based teams including Site Managers, Supervisors and mechanical installation engineers.
• Work alongside a Senior Project Manager and engage in client‑facing meetings with integrity and professionalism.
• Maintain a proven track record in managing and delivering large‑scale mechanical schemes.
• Deal with main contractors and support delivery of mechanical installations and related services.

Qualifications

• Experience in M&E / Building Services background with direct project management of mechanical installations.
• Commercially minded and mechanically biased with proven experience on multi‑million pound projects.
• Good communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a stable, progressive business environment and manage varied projects.
• Based in or commutable to Leeds.
