About the Position: Dream Builders is seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. The Behavior Technician will work with individuals to implement behaviour intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
Responsibilities:
- Implement behaviour plans and skill acquisition programs as directed by the BCBA
- Collect data on client progress and behaviour
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
- Utilise behavioural therapy techniques to support clients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
- Collaborate with the treatment team to provide comprehensive care
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) preferred
- Experience working with children or individuals with special needs
- Familiarity with applied behaviour analysis (ABA) principles
- Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
