Production Operative positions are available for immediate start in our Warrenpoint factory which will offer opportunities to gain experience in woodworking, upholstery, assembly, cutting edge machinery, stock control, loading and unloading of vehicles and other related tasks. Further training in Forklift driving and First Aid at Work can also be achieved.
Responsibilities:
- Manufacturing high quality mattresses, divan bases & designer headboards.
- Carry out manual handling of our products and have good practical skills.
- Contributing to stock management, including undertaking regular stock takes, moving and arranging stock.
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of vehicles.
- Working as part of a team to ensure that customer orders are sent out with the correct items in a timely and efficient manner to help maintain our high customer service levels.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Be capable and prepared to carry out manual handling of our products and have good practical skills.
- Able to work quickly, methodically and be able to follow instructions.
- Deliver high-quality products in line with safety, quality, and operational standards.
- Have a flexible attitude to carrying out various tasks during the working day.
- Available for overtime if required.
- Have access to transport for an 8am start and 5pm finish.
- Previous experience in a factory and in the use of air tools will be useful, but a willingness to contribute to the team is more important as on-site training will be provided.
- A clean driving licence would be an advantage.
