LOCUM HCA's URGENTLY REQUIRED FOR HOSPITAL SETTING LOCUM POSITIONS. BEST HOURLY RATES PAID.
Dream Medical requires a dedicated HCA to work across various locations in the Bath Area. A Health Care Assistant is a critical member of the Ward team, supporting and assisting Registered Nurses in the assessment, planning and implementation of patient care. Delivering care to the patient as prescribed by the individual care plans and liaising with family members as appropriate.
Responsibilities:- Working in a hospital setting, assisting the qualified nursing & medical staff with the assessment and implementation of individual patient care plans.
- Undertaking routine tasks and activities as directed to facilitate the wellbeing, dignity and treatment of all patients.
- Providing practical support and responsive care to patients who require assistance with intimate personal needs such as dressing, bathing and toileting activities ensuring that such activities comply with procedures and the relevant healthcare legislation.
- Compassionate, patient and warm nature, combined with strong care skills and knowledge.
- Writing and communication ability.
- Highly organised with a keen eye both for detail and the big picture.
- Satisfactory references.
- Able to complete an enhanced DBS check.
- Have the right to work in the UK.
