**Prison nurses needed for immediate start** **Competitive £££**
Dream Medical is working with a prison in Bristol seeking locum Prison Nurses for ad-hoc and ongoing shifts.
We receive weekly and monthly rotas from this prison, allowing us to offer flexible hours (full-time, part-time, or flexible). We are seeking Prison Nurses to start ASAP for ongoing work.
This prison is a category B facility.
The Prison Nurse will focus on delivering high-quality, safe, and effective healthcare for offenders of various ages and needs.
Responsibilities include:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based care in collaboration with service users and the multidisciplinary team;
- Delivering nursing care through various models such as inpatient care and nurse-led clinics;
- Contributing to offender healthcare delivery by working collaboratively with other agencies to improve health outcomes;
- Supporting service users in managing their conditions by building knowledge, skills, and confidence;
- Focusing on health promotion and encouraging responsibility for health;
- Providing emergency/urgent care and ensuring safe onward referrals as necessary.
Current prison clearance is essential.
