Occupational Health Nurses urgently required in Stafford to assist with Flu clinics, excellent rates with flexible days/hours. We are looking for experienced occupational health nurses to cover flu clinics in the Stafford region. We work with organisations such as law firms and factories to administer the flu vaccination. This is a flexible locum opportunity that you can fit around your schedule. The flu vaccination program runs from the end of September to around mid-December. We vaccinate nationwide across the UK and currently stock approximately 25,000 vaccines with around 400 clients nationwide.
Responsibilities:
- Administer up to 16 flu vaccines per hour.
- Offer a minimum of 3-hour clinics.
- Travel between sites is paid at 25p per mile.
- All vaccination equipment, vaccines, sharps bins and documents are provided on site in a temperature-regulated box on arrival.
- Provide one-to-one consultancy and support to locum nurses.
Requirements:
- NMC registration and pin.
- Mandatory training.
- Occupational Health Nursing or Practice Nursing experience.
- Immunisations clinical update.
- Enhanced DBS issued within 1 year.
- Anaphylaxis/BLS training.
