Dream Medical is working with a respected Practice in Somerset who urgently requires a full-time Lead Nurse. An opportunity has arisen to join a busy Practice based across two sites with a combined patient size of just over 11,000.
The ideal candidate will manage the nursing team comprising of Practice Nurses, a Health Care Assistant (HCA) and a Phlebotomist, providing support and mentorship to team members. The role includes auditing, clinical governance, infection prevention & control, and leading treatment for patients with long-term conditions such as Diabetes. The Lead Nurse will also assist the partner in leading training across the Practice.
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar Lead Nurse role.
- Evidence of team supervision, governance, audit and quality assurance.
- Excellent interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
- Strong organisational skills.
