Our practice is a progressive training practice seeking an enthusiastic GP to join on a permanent basis.

Key Details:

  • Position available from July 2016.
  • Working 6-8 sessions per week.
  • 6 weeks annual leave and 1 week study leave per annum.
  • Flat hierarchy; good income and QOF figures.
  • Recently assessed by CQC as “Good” in all areas.

The post holder will be expected to undertake all normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care. The responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Surgery consultations.
  • Telephone consultations and queries.
  • Visiting patients at home.
  • Checking and signing repeat prescriptions.
  • Dealing with queries, patient test results.
  • Reviewing patient-related correspondence.
  • Managing DOCman patient medical reports and examinations (e.g., insurance companies).
  • Other paperwork and correspondence in a timely fashion on behalf of the practice.

The salary on offer for this position is at the very top end of the scale in the UK, reflecting the flexibility required for the role.
