Pharmacist required for a busy surgery in Milton Keynes. Excellent package available. Part‑time position working 20 hours per week with flexible days.
Responsibilities:
- Provide services to patients registered with the Hub.
- Provide information and support to patients on medicines information, pharmaceutical advice, and repeat prescriptions.
- Provide support to primary care sites and assist with prescribing and high‑risk drug management audits.
- Use critical thinking and effective communication skills to assess callers’ needs, considering social, cultural and economic factors.
- Prescribe appropriately for patients requiring urgent prescriptions using summary care record information to ensure accurate re‑prescribing.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
- Have successfully completed the CPPE General practice pharmacist pathway.
- Be a Non‑Medical Prescriber.
- Maintain professional and clinical competence through continuing professional development.
- Have extensive experience working within a primary care setting.
- Be able to provide patient care through both face‑to‑face and remote consultations.
- Be able to effectively manage workload and support services with pharmacy‑related tasks.
- Have experience with SystmOne.
Salary & Benefits:
- £48,000 DOE
- 33 days annual leave (incl. Bank holidays), pro‑rated for part‑time, rises with length of service
