You’ll have experience of multispeciality surgical procedures, plus further professional training, experience and, preferably, a qualification in a specialist area. You’ll also have excellent clinical skills and experience of being in a mentoring role. Like us, you believe in putting people first. So you’ll be a great role model when it comes to giving care – taking the time to fully understand and meet each patient’s needs, and showing others how to reassure and support patients and their families. This is the type of care that comes naturally to talented practitioners. You’ll be an excellent communicator and team worker – flexible and motivated. As part of the wider hospital team, you’ll interact with practitioners from other areas because you understand that continuity in patient care is key.
