Part‑time Cardiac Physiologist urgently required for a private hospital in the Leeds area. Dream Medical is working with a number of respected private hospitals and need a qualified physiologist to join the multidisciplinary team. You will work with a close‑knit team, managing a varied caseload with state‑of‑the‑art equipment.
Responsibilities
- ECGs
- Physiologist‑led exercise testing
- Ambulatory BP monitoring
- Ambulatory ECG monitoring and analysis
- Basic spirometry
- Echocardiography including stress echocardiography
- Trans‑oesophageal echocardiography (TOE) in isolation or with PFO closure
- Basic cardiac angiography
Qualifications
- Must hold BSE accreditation or be working toward it.
- Minimum of band 6 or equivalent post in this area.
- Confidence and competence in autonomously producing echocardiography reports in line with BSE guidelines.
- Experience in specialist echocardiography services such as stress echocardiography and TOE is essential; paediatric and congenital experience would be an advantage.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills; evidence of continued professional development.
- BSc in Clinical Physiology (Cardiology) or equivalent (HNC/ONC) and registered with the RCCP.
