Dream Medical is recruiting Practice Nurses to support GP practices. Roles include locum work with flexible days and hours, with ongoing assignments that could become permanent in the near future.
- Wigan: New modern GP practice in Wigan is looking for a Locum Practice Nurse. Flexibility with days and hours; ideally 4 days per week, but 2 days may be considered. Ongoing role with potential to become permanent. You will work as part of a team alongside GPs, Nurses and healthcare assistants.
- Requirements:
- Knowledge or experience of Chronic Disease Management
- Care of patients presenting with undifferentiated health problems
- Child and adult immunisations
- Cervical Cytology (Not essential)
- Diabetes
- Asthma and COPD monitoring (Desirable)
- Family planning
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Up to date knowledge of QOF and Enhanced Services
- Be fully up to date in terms of clinical updates, immunisations and vaccinations
