Urgent full-time locum Theatre Practitioner/Nurse - Recovery (RGN/ODP) is required for a hospital in the Gloucester area. The role is within an NHS hospital environment. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Practitioner/Nurse in Recovery who will work autonomously and contribute to a multi-disciplinary team of leading consultants on a varied caseload. You will supervise, support and develop junior staff and deliver high-quality care. You will be a registered Theatre Operating Department Practitioner with qualifications relevant to your registration (including NMC or HCPC). You should be a team player, flexible and motivated.
Responsibilities
- Work autonomously as a Recovery Practitioner/Nurse within the Theatre team; deliver high-quality care on a varied caseload
- Supervise, support and develop junior staff
- Collaborate with leading consultants within a multi-disciplinary team
Qualifications
- Registered Theatre Operating Department Practitioner
- Qualifications relevant to registration (NMC or HCPC)
- Experience in Recovery and ability to work autonomously
