Dream Medical is seeking a Salaried GP for 9 sessions a week based in a traditional surgery in Leicester. With fantastic commuter routes and diverse patient lists, we are leasing directly with the CCG to fill this position. You will be based out of a purpose built surgery with a full quota of clinical and non-clinical staff. The surgery has no extended hours or weekend commitments at present – only a maximum of one home visit a day. The practice caters to registered patients only, with a manageable patient list of 9,000. The clinic is well run with ample support functions, a full quota of nursing and support staff, and you will be replacing a GP who is retiring.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 9 sessions per week of general practice care
- Maintain patient safety and clinical standards in a traditional surgery setting
- Manage administrative duties within statutory remit
- Participate in practice improvement and quality initiatives
- Possibly undertake up to one home visit per day
Qualifications and Experience
- Fully qualified GP enrolled on a performers list
- Prior UK experience as an ST3 GP or higher, or recently qualified GPs are also encouraged to apply
- Registered with the GMC and in good standing
