Dream Medical are currently seeking to recruit a diagnostic Radiographer to join a friendly team in a busy Imaging Department on a full or part-time permanent basis within a contemporary Private Hospital.
As a qualified Radiographer with either a BSc degree in diagnostic radiography or an equivalent qualification to meet HCPC registration, you will be performing general and fluoroscopy radiological procedures in both Imaging and in the operating theatre in accordance with departmental protocols and Ionising Radiation (Medical exposure) Regulations.
Postgraduate experience and/or qualification in the following areas of specialism would be an advantage – Mammography, and CT Scanning – but isn't essential as CPD training can be offered.
You will be working alongside and assisting Consultant Radiologists for a range of radiological and ultrasound procedures. The ability to deal professionally and sensitively with patients and staff at all levels is essential.
Ideally, we're looking for someone with a flexible approach, as we have a number of different shift patterns including some 8am starts and some evenings. As part of the role, we'll ask you to participate on a weekday and weekend on-call rota to ensure cover for Saturday theatre cases.
