Prison Nurses Band 5/6 urgently required in Oxfordshire. Dream Medical are working with a Prison in Oxford and require a Band 5 or Band 6 Staff Nurse/Registered General Nurse (RGN) to work flexible shifts (full time). You must have previous experience as a Prison Nurse and valid clearance levels.
Main responsibilities Registered General Nurse (RGN):
- Assess patients' health and well-being across a complex and changing caseload
- Assist in the delivery of care to meet individuals' health and wellbeing needs
- Provide and receive complex, sensitive, or contentious information
- Promote best practices in health, safety, and security
- Assist in maintaining and developing services
- Contribute to quality improvement
- Promote people's equality, diversity, and rights
- Work autonomously with minimum supervision
- Apply clinical reasoning skills to a range of complex and varied patient case mixes
Skills & Behaviors of qualifying Registered General Nurse (RGN):
- RGN will be successful at working in teams
- Prison Clearance or Shared Security Cleared for either Cat A, B, or C
- Extensive experience of working within secured environments
- Competence across a range of nursing skills supported by professional and clinical knowledge
- Possess training requirements RGN role
- Current NMC registration
- Current DBS/CRB
- Be able to provide full documentation
