Dream Medical are working with a friendly GP surgery in Surrey. This surgery currently has 8,000 patients and they are looking for an excellent Practice Nurse to join their multi-disciplinary team on a permanent basis. This role will allow the appointed candidate to flourish and be pivotal in the development and provision of nursing care and its planning in primary care.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care within the primary care setting as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Duties will generally include phlebotomy, wound care and dressings, travel vaccinations, immunisations for babies and children, spirometry, cytology (as appropriate) and chronic disease management where applicable.
- There may also be opportunities to participate in service development and care planning.
Requirements / Qualifications
- NMC Registration
- RGN Qualifications
- Practice Nurse experience
- Up-to-date certificates for all training
Desirable skills
- Experience in cytology, travel vaccinations, baby and child immunisations, phlebotomy, spirometry and wounds and dressings
- Chronic disease management experience
Locations
Dream Medical is working with GP surgeries across multiple locations including Surrey, Croydon, Oxfordshire, Reading, Oxford and Nottingham. Roles vary by site and are offered on a part-time or full-time basis.
