Part time Locum Occupational Therapist urgently required in the Community in the Surrey area. Dream Medical is working with the Community Paediatric services in Surrey who urgently require a part-time locum Occupational Therapist.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join a dynamic team. The ideal candidate will provide support and advice to the child's parents and teachers, adapt communication to the child's age and level of understanding, including sign language if necessary. You will plan further treatment, review the child's progress, assess for adaptations, and use specialist equipment when needed.

Good communication skills are essential, and additional skills like sign language and facial expressions may be required depending on the child. You must have excellent interpersonal skills, patience, tolerance, analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and flexibility. You must be HCPC registered with post-registration experience.

This role is part-time, 4 days per week, with an hourly rate of £30-£35 depending on experience.
