FULL TIME PRACTICE NURSE REQUIRED AT A BUSY GP SURGERY IN THE AYLESBURY AREA.
Dream-Medical are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Practice Nurse to work at a busy GP surgery in the Aylesbury area. The successful candidate must be able to perform all the standard Practice Nurse duties.
Overall Purpose of the Role
The general practice nurse is responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe and effective nursing care to the whole practice population. The focus of the role is the delivery of evidence-based practice for patients with long-term conditions and management and preventative nursing interventions to all patients. The post holder will work collaboratively with the whole general practice team and report to the locality lead nurse.
Experience
- Previous primary care experience and knowledge of the working of general practice
- Clinical skills – cervical cytology, immunisation and vaccination, ear care, minor surgery
- Experience of managing chronic disease clinics
- Change-management skills and ability to support patients to change lifestyle
This is a full time post of 37.5 hours but would consider part time hours for the correct candidate. They are offering a salary between £35,000-£38,000 depending on qualifications and experience, including NHS Pension.
