Dream Medical are looking for an experienced Oncology Nurse to join our Oncology department. This is a permanent, part time role (15 hours per week).

You will be responsible for delivering quality nursing care in line with hospital standards, current government and N.I.C.E guidelines for patients requiring cytotoxic chemotherapy, through assessment of patient’s needs, implementation of care and evaluation of progress and clinical outcome.

You will ensure appropriate patient and family information, advice and support is available to individuals requiring cytotoxic chemotherapy. You will have the time to put patients first - our reputation depends upon it.

You’ll enjoy working in an innovative, clean, modern working environment, while benefiting from support and training opportunities, plus the time and nurse-patient ratio that ensures the highest standards of care.

This role is based in a purpose-built hospital that has 64 beds, 8 theatres, an intensive care unit and other state-of-the-art facilities. We work with some of the world’s leading surgeons in a wide range of disciplines, including orthopaedics, cardiothoracic and neurosurgery. Our staff are respected for their professional expertise and encouraged to get involved in decision-making. Our location in Headington is convenient for buses and the park and ride scheme.
