Dream Medical is working with GP surgeries to recruit Practice Nurses for ongoing opportunities in multiple locations. This listing includes positions such as two mornings per week in Brighton and various full- or part-time roles in Croydon, Oxfordshire, Reading and Nottingham.
Role and hours: Locum or permanent Practice Nurse roles. Typical hours vary by location; example: 20 hours/week (Mon, Wed and Fri) for an ongoing period.
Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a nursing team alongside GPs, nurses and healthcare assistants
- Provide nursing care relevant to the practice population
- Asthma management
- Diabetic reviews
- Hypertension clinics
- IHD and COPD clinics
- Immunisation and vaccination clinics (including holiday and flu clinics)
- Cervical cytology and Family Planning services
- Amend or add to services as needs are identified
Essential skills / Qualifications:
- Ear syringing
- Travel immunisations
- Compression bandages
