Dream Medical are working with a GP surgery in Brighton who are currently looking for a Locum Practice Nurse to join their team. The practice are looking for a nurse to work 20 hours/week on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays for an ongoing period. You will be working as part of a team alongside GPs, Nurses and healthcare assistants. The Practice Nurse is part of a nursing team responsible for ensuring that the practice provides an optimum service of nursing care relevant to the practice population.
Responsibilities:
- Asthma
- Diabetic review
- Hypertension Clinic
- IHD Clinic
- COPD Clinic
- Immunisation Vaccination Clinic
- Holiday Vaccination Clinic
- Flu Vaccination Clinic
- Cervical Smears
- Family Planning
- Amending or adding to services as needs are identified
Qualifications:
Essential to have the following skills:
- Ear syringing
- Travel immunisations
- Compression bandages
