Dream Medical is working with a fast-paced GP surgery in Aylesbury and requires a Practice Nurse to cover 4 days per week throughout April and May. The clinical system used is Emis web, and applicants will ideally be proficient users with a smart card. The session times are Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 09:00 to 17:00.
We are looking for an Asthma and COPD Specialist Nurse; therefore, a qualification and experience in these chronic diseases are essential. You will also cover other treatment room duties, such as:
- Cervical Cytology
- Baby immunisations
- Travel health
- Wounds and dressings
- Venepuncture and spirometry
Requirements include:
- NMC Registration and Pin
- Asthma and COPD qualification/experience
- 1 year's experience within a UK GP surgery
- Emis Web user
- Smartcard
