Overview
Occupational Health Nurse – Guildford (Locum). Dream Medical are working with a large healthcare provider in Guildford and are looking for Occupational Health Nurses to administer the Flu Vaccine over the flu season. Vaccination work will commence from the end of September to around mid-December. We vaccinate all over England, Scotland and Wales and operate across around 400 clients nationwide with a stock of approximately 25,000 vaccines.
Responsibilities
- Administer influenza vaccines as part of seasonal vaccination clinics (target of 16 vaccines per hour).
- Work at minimum 3-hour clinic blocks; potential travel between sites with a mileage allowance of 25p per mile on travel between sites.
- Ensure all vaccination equipment, vaccines, sharps bins and essential documents are available on site in a temperature-regulated container.
Requirements
- NMC registration and pin.
- Occupational Health Nursing/Practice Nursing experience.
- Immunisations clinical update.
- Enhanced DBS issued within 1 year.
