Dream Medical is seeking a GP for Locum work for an esteemed client in Basingstoke. The Surgery operates on traditional hours and is open Monday through Friday. Located towards the south of Basingstoke, it offers onsite parking and is ideally located close to local transport hubs. You will join a fantastic clinical team that caters to the local and surrounding community and provides high-quality medical care. This position is open to both newly qualified GPs and General Practitioners with previous Locum and/or Salaried experience.
Essential requirements include:
- Proven competency in all aspects of normal primary care services
- Hold a full, clean GMC
- MRCGP (or working towards it)
- Be on a performers list
- Current DBS
- Make professional, autonomous decisions
- Provide medical advice for minor injuries and illnesses
- Provide treatment for patients in need of immediate medical care
- Support other members of the clinical team
- Refer patients to other clinical care providers if required
- Able to work under pressure and within an ever-changing environment
- Undertake a variety of duties including signing prescriptions and completing paperwork
