Dream Medical is working with the Ministry of Defence and has an exciting opportunity within their Oxford Base. We are looking for a Band 7 Mental Health Nurse for a full-time, Monday-Friday position. You will work between 3 bases, therefore access to your own vehicle and a driving licence is essential.
You should be a qualified Mental Health Nurse with a Post Graduate or MSc in a Mental Health clinical speciality. The successful candidate will have a Community RMN nurse background. Previous MOD experience and Accredited Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) practitioner experience are desirable but not essential.
The role involves providing outpatient, occasionally focused community mental health services within your area of responsibility at the Department of Community Mental Health (DCMH). This includes leading the organization and delivery of high-intensity therapeutic interventions, educational, training, and mental health promotion activities in collaboration with the multidisciplinary mental health team at the DCMH.
