MOD Band 6 RMN Nurse – Oxford (Locum) Dream Medical are working with the MOD and are looking for a Band 6 RMN Nurse to join their Multi-disciplinary team on a locum basis. You will be based in the medical centre of the Oxford Ministry of Defence base.
The role is to be responsible for providing an outpatient occupationally focused community mental health service within the area of responsibility (of the Department of Community Mental Health). This will include helping to organise and deliver therapeutic interventions, educational training and mental health promotion initiatives in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary mental health team.
You will carry out initial mental health assessments and subsequent reviews for all personnel referred to the DCMH. You'll also be responsible for an identified case load by reviewing client needs with ongoing development and evaluation of individual treatment plans.
Requirements:
- RMN Qualification
- Must hold in date Automated External Defibrillator (AED), Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) and Safeguarding Level 3 certificates.
- 2 years Mental Health community experience
Desirable:
- Previous MOD experience
- Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) Levels 2-3
- Driving licence and access to own vehicle.
