Dream Medical are working with the MOD and have an exciting opportunity for a practice nurse to gain experience within the Ministry Of Defence. This is a full time post for a band 6 nurse and the sessions are 08:00 – 16:30 Monday to Friday.
You will be based in a fast paced base in Devon covering:
- Chronic Disease Management (Diabetes, Asthma, COPD, Hypertension, Spirometry)
- Cervical Cytology
- Adult immunisations and injections (B12, flu vaccines)
- Ear Irrigation
- Leg Ulcers
- Wounds & Dressing
- Smoking Cessation
- Venepuncture
- Healthy Living Advice
You must:
- Be NMC registered with a valid pin
- Be able to provide clinical updates for all skill sets mentioned
- Have an Enhanced DBS issued within 1 year
This role offers a lucrative rate of pay that is paid on a weekly basis as well as a one-to-one consultancy.
