Dream Medical requires a Substance Misuse Associate Practitioner to join an NHS Substance Misuse multidisciplinary team on a locum basis. This position will start as soon as possible for a minimum of 3 months.
The role involves acting as an integral member within substance misuse services, providing a range of interventions to people affected by substance misuse. You will manage, under the supervision of a senior practitioner, a delegated caseload or area of practice, always working within your level of competence and following local and Trust guidelines and policies.
- 12 months experience in a Substance Misuse setting/service
- You must be an NMC registered Nurse with up-to-date certificates of competencies for the skills mentioned above.
- You must also have an Enhanced DBS certificate issued within the last year, along with up-to-date Mandatory training in BLS, Safeguarding, First Aid, Information Governance, and Infection Control.
