Substance Misuse ANP for a Prison in Gloucester. Dream Medical work with Secure environments across the UK, they are one of the most challenging, yet rewarding places for healthcare professionals to work. If you're looking for a role where you can develop your existing nursing skills and learn something new every day in an environment that never stands still, then this could be the opportunity for you.
As a Substance Misuse Practitioner, you will work holistically with service users based on individualised packages of care identified through comprehensive assessment and recovery planning. Within this role, you will provide a programme of interventions, along with information and advice on substance misuse, alcohol, smoking cessation, blood borne viruses and safe sex practices.
Cover is required across 7 days per week including evenings and weekends with no commitment to book a minimum number of hours; book the hours that suit you (Minimum 4hrs shift).
Non-medical prescribing qualification and previous experience working in a Prison is essential, current Prison clearance is desirable but not essential.
