Dream Medical is recruiting Practice Nurses to support GP practices. Roles include locum work with flexible days and hours, with ongoing assignments that could become permanent in the near future.

  • Wigan — New modern GP practice in Wigan is looking for a Locum Practice Nurse.
    • Flexibility with days and hours; ideally 4 days per week, but 2 days may be considered.
    • Ongoing role with potential to become permanent.
    • You will work as part of a team alongside GPs, Nurses and healthcare assistants.
    • Requirements:
      • Knowledge or experience of Chronic Disease Management
      • Care of patients presenting with undifferentiated health problems
      • Child and adult immunisations
      • Cervical Cytology (Not essential)
      • Diabetes
      • Asthma and COPD monitoring (Desirable)
      • Family planning
      • Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
      • Up to date knowledge of QOF and Enhanced Services
      • Be fully up to date in terms of clinical updates, immunisations and vaccinations
