Practice Nurse – Maternity Cover – Manchester 9-12months
Dream Medical are working with a GP surgery in Manchester who are currently looking for a Locum Practice Nurse to cover maternity leave.
The practice are looking for a nurse to work 27 hours/week on a 9-12 month contract.
You will be working as part of a team alongside GP\’s, Nurses and healthcare assistants.
The Practice Nurse is part of a nursing team responsible for ensuring that the practice provides an optimum service of nursing care relevant to the practice population.
The main duties and responsibilities are as follows:
- Asthma Diabetic review
- Hypertension Clinic
- IHD Clinic
- COPD Clinic
- Immunisation
- Vaccination Clinic
- Holiday Vaccination Clinic
- Flu Vaccination Clinic
- Cervical Smears
- Family Planning
