Locum Medical Receptionist – Letchworth (Herts) – Part Time
Dream Medical is currently working with a GP surgery in Letchworth/Hitchin recruiting a locum Medical Receptionist to work the front desk. The surgery would like to recruit a Medical Receptionist to work 27 hours per week to start ASAP on a temporary 3 month basis with a view to turn into a permanent role in the new year.
The days are split over a 2 week rota, with flexibility; generally the receptionist would work either a morning 8am–1/2pm or afternoon 1pm–6/7pm.
Responsibilities
- Audio typing
- Copy typing
- Inputting new referrals
- Dealing with patients face to face and by phone
- Sending letters to parents
- Booking/changing appointments
Ideal candidates / Requirements
- Prior experience in a GP practice
- Used EMIS Webb software (not essential)
- Good customer service skills and telephone manner
- Proof of ID
- 2 x references from within the past 12 months
- Right to work
- DBS Check within 1 year
