We have a 3-month locum position for an experienced Medical Receptionist within a friendly GP surgery on a part-time basis. The role involves working Monday – Friday, either 08:00 – 13:00 or 13:30 – 18:30. The clinical system used is Emis Web, so the successful candidate should be proficient in its use, ideally with a smart card.
Responsibilities include:
- Making phone calls
- Scheduling appointments
- Managing prescriptions
- Front desk duties
This is a patient-facing role, so friendliness and approachability are essential. Previous Medical Receptionist experience and excellent IT skills are required.
