Overview
Locum GP required in Sheffield. 36 hours per week. £85 per hour. Working in a traditional surgery with a Monday – Friday rota and no OOH cover. The surgery caters to registered and walk-in patients only. The patient list size is 7,500 and uses Emis Web. This is a long-term locum position. The client is looking for experienced staff to help facility future expansion plans of the patient list. As this is a training practice, you will be supported by Senior GPs who will assist with any queries you may have. You may be able to arrange an informal walk-around before starting if required.
Responsibilities
- Work in a traditional GP surgery on a Monday – Friday rota with no OOH cover.
- See registered and walk-in patients.
- Manage a patient list of approximately 7,500 using the Emis Web system.
- Be replacing a departing GP; be available to support with future expansion plans of the patient list.
- Limit home visits to a maximum of 1 per day; home visits paid at £30 per visit.
- Work 9 sessions per week (approximately 36 hours).
Qualifications
- Fully qualified GP on the performers list.
- Previous UK experience as an ST3 GP or higher.
