Dermatology Nurse – Scunthorpe (Locum)

Dream Medical are working with a Dermatology clinic in Lincolnshire and have an immediate vacancy for a Dermatology Nurse. The role is based within the North Lincolnshire Dermatology Service.

Your role will be to provide nursing expertise in the management of patients undergoing dermatology treatment as an outpatient in settings outside of the hospital environment. To work within a multidisciplinary team to provide innovative community based healthcare for Dermatology patients referred by General Practitioners in North Lincolnshire and Hull. Always working within the parameters of the NMC Code of Professional Conduct, Scope of Practice, policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Full Driving License
  • Dermatology Experience of 2 years
  • RGN Qualification or equivalent
  • NMC Registration & Pin
  • Independent/supplementary nurse prescriber qualification
  • Demonstration of level 3 study
  • At least 2 years Dermatology experience in acute, primary care and/or community settings
  • Managing Dermatology clinics
  • Managing phototherapy and leg ulcer clinics
  • Flexibility required for travel between outreach sites in North Lincolnshire and Hull and the administration centre and some Saturdays as required

This role offers a lucrative rate of pay that is paid on a weekly basis as well as a one-to-one consultancy. This is a full time, locum position that is initially for a minimum of 6 weeks.
