A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Dermatology Clinical Nurse Specialist (C.N.S); however, part-time could also be considered. The ideal candidate must be active on the NMC register and have adequate clinical experience and skin cancer knowledge.
Leadership and communication skills are essential, and evidence to support experience of teaching and leadership management training is required. The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, compassionate, and a team member.
A candidate who has effective interpersonal skills, clinical reasoning, and independent problem-solving/decision-making skills would be ideal.
The role of the clinical nurse specialist is a very active and important role in the provision of emotional, psychological, and practical support, symptom control/health education for the patient and their family throughout the cancer journey.
