The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.

Dream Medical are working with the NHS Trust and require a Band 2 phlebotomist to start ASAP for an initial 2‑month period within the Ellesmere Port community team. The role will be from Wednesday to Friday, with session times of 09:00 – 17:00.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain venous or capillary blood samples from patients in their own homes in accordance with trust guidelines.
  • Label and bar-code specimen bottles accurately.
  • Place samples into appropriately labelled bottles, package them suitably for transport to the laboratory.
  • Conduct the procedure with proper regard to patient confidentiality and an awareness of the patient’s individual needs.
  • Record appropriate information in identified documentation in accordance with local procedures and Trust requirements.

Requirements

  • Community Phlebotomist experience.
  • Certificate of competency for venepuncture.
  • Own vehicle and driving licence.
  • Proof of immunisations.
  • References covering the last 3 years.
